Just before 9/11, I moved to Los Angeles with the hopes of pursuing my musical dreams. These songs are a collection of my whimsical days on the Sunset Boulevard, on the shores of Santa Monica, sitting across the Roosevelt Hotel. I think you will many of these songs to be uplifting and fun but there is definitely a serious side toward the end as I grapple with days of loneliness and big life questions. After one year in Los Angeles, I returned home to Chicago. I will never forget my creative time wandering the boulevards.
