    Jim Molina

    Pianist. composer. educator

Jim Molina is a pianist, composer, and educator based in the Chicago area whose music blends pop, rock, contemporary classical, cinematic, progressive and instrumental influences into a unique and expressive sound. Jim creates music that connects with listeners on both an artistic and personal level. In addition to composing and performing, he continues to inspire musicians through teaching, recording projects, and creative collaborations.

For Jim, music has always been about storytelling. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of genres and artistic influences, he has developed a style that balances technical craftsmanship with emotional authenticity, allowing each composition to take listeners on a distinctive journey.

Over the course of more than three decades as a pianist and educator, Jim has built a reputation for creativity, versatility, and excellence. His experience as a performer, composer, church music director, accompanist, conductor, and teacher has shaped a broad musical perspective that informs every aspect of his work. Equally comfortable on the concert stage, in the recording studio, or in the private studio, he is passionate about helping others discover the transformative power of music while continuing to expand his own artistic voice.

Today, Jim is focused on composing new original works, producing recordings, and developing educational projects that inspire the next generation of musicians. As he continues to explore new musical ideas and collaborations, his mission remains the same: to create music that moves, inspires, and leaves a lasting impression.
